The BWF-CERTIFIRE Fire Door and Doorset Scheme has released a new video to help installers understand the crucial elements when fitting a fire door assembly.
In particular, the film stresses the need for fitters to follow the instructions supplied with every door and which highlight the components that are suited to that door.
A certificated half hour fire door which is incorrectly installed may only provide 5-10 minutes of fire resistance.
