The coroner investigating the deaths of a mother and her three-year-old daughter in a fire in Fishermead, Milton Keynes, in 2010 has laid the blame for their deaths firmly at the door of their landlord.
Earlier this year Lookman Adeyemi was jailed for four months for breaching fire regulations at the house where Bola Ejifunmilayo and daughter Fiyin lived, when they died on September 5, 2010 in the blaze.
The breaches included smoke detectors that were not working, no fire doors being fitted and no fire escape procedures in place for residents.
