A Bayswater hotelier, who put lives at risk by flouting fire safety laws, has been fined £200,000 and ordered to pay £29,922 costs after pleading guilty to seven offences under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order : 2005.
The numerous fire safety breaches at the 18-room Radnor Hotel, Inverness Terrace, London included fire doors removed or missing, doors tied back with string and / or cord and a fire door held open by a fire extinguisher.
