Representatives from the BWF-CERTIFIRE Scheme and Fire Door Inspection Scheme (FDIS) will be available at the Fire Sector Summit (Stand 17) – Wembley Stadium, 23rd and 24th October – to answer questions on fire door safety and fire door inspections.
Workshops and a Question Time style panel discussion will be facilitated at the event by Radio 4’s Today programme presenter John Humphrys. There will also be a ministerial address by fire minister Brandon Lewis.
Conference topics include fire prevention in modern cities and the changing face of Britain’s built environment, while workshops include sessions on integrated risk management planning, lessons from the Atherstone warehouse fire, building information modelling, and fire risk assessment.
