Consultation on Hazardous Waste Management

The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) is inviting views on a proposed new strategy for hazardous waste management in England. The Strategy aims to work in conjunction with the provisions of the revised Waste Framework Directive (2008/98/EC) relating to hazardous waste. The consultation closes on 13 October 2009 and documentation can be found on the Defra website by following this link. The BWF would welcome any comments from members who might have specific views on the subject.
